Welcome to MVP3 Radio, the hottest new entertainment-oriented show on internet radio, with your host, Daniel Martine. Produced by Marie Pizano and MVP3 Entertainment Group. This week we welcome the Executive Director of the Memphis and Shelby County Music Commission, the very accomplished Johnnie Walker. The Mississippi-born Ms. Walker is also the founder of NABFEME; the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music & Entertainment, Inc. Ms. Walker will be MVP3 Radios extended interview this week and it promises to be an entertaining and informative segment about the current state of music in Memphis. Also, we have a short MVP3 News Segment by MVP3 Founder and CEO, Marie Pizano. The S&M Show starring our wacky film review duo, Sam Garrett and Marie Pizano, is in hiatus until next week. Well also a feature a quick update on recent guests, members of long-time Memphis heavy metal band staples, the veteran Medieval Steel. Cary Scarbrough, the bands new guitar shredder will talk about a rare live appearance on Friday evening at the New Daisy on Beale Street by the band. Well cap off the show with the "Queen of Twang", the San Diego-born, but Memphis-adopted singer/songwriter, Nancy Apple. We will also share several of her original songs with our listeners.
