Im thankful for, uh, dont get me started. We only have so much time - and Ive a tendency to ramble. But very thankful for being able to share Dori Calls alike thoughts, experiences, commitment and drive. A life long (almost) resident of Newark, Delaware, after work one day Mrs. Call and husband Rod Call received news their 16-year old son Sam Call, was in an accident. Angels beckoned, both Sam yet also Dori. Now 8-years later, the story of faith, hope, becoming a Caregiver, watching a TBI grow up & out out the house all the while battling SSI, Health Care, and daily issues of not just Sam, but by all. In todays world, the mother of two found her calling in wanted support and ideas through CarePages.com (hacking issue - no longer recommended), though since has left to join forces on Face Book. Thats where I met her, 4-years ago, laying lonely in bed with a laptop. RHI gave me a list of web sites, so I searched. And searched. Eureka! Dori became a personal online Angel of Mercy, offering daily advise and guidance. At a young age, her own tunnel was very dark, but in Rod she found the light during high school years. As their normal world churned of track differently - "the train kept-a-chuggin, all night long..." Oh, and Im thankful I can swallow turkey again.
